Director
Britany Schoning
Britany obtained her Associates in ECE from Iowa Western since then she has worked in childcare since 2011! 10+ years teaching, guiding and continuously working to improve any area of Early Childhood Education she can!
Stanton Child Resource Center is not just her place of work, it’s a home away from home for her family where she has watched her 3 children Harper, Madilyn, and Lincoln grow and develop outside of home and school. Britany pours herself into the center and the staff she carefully selects to become a part of the SCRC team that creates a safe, caring, educational and overall enjoyable childcare center. Not only for the children of the community but also the parent's families that become a part of our family at SCRC.
Outside of work she loves spending her time with her children, husband Jared and other friends and family. Britany’s hobbies include, reading, golfing, shopping and grabbing a much-needed cup of ice coffee from Starbucks or scooters!
Assistant Director
BrieAnne Pester
BrieAnne joined Stanton Child Resource Center November 2020. Brie Loves working with children and has a firm belief that the first five years are extremely vital to a child's life. She is working towards receiving her CDA and continuously looking for trainings and resources to help better herself, staff and Stanton Child Resource Center. Brie has been a vital tool in directing staff to understand the social emotional development behind childcare.
The only thing Brie loves more than her job is her family, she has two children Lathan and Leila with her fiancé Brad and wants three more children. They spend their weekends traveling to family's homes in Hamburg, IA and Council Bluffs, IA. There is never a dull moment inside or outside of work Brie truly runs off chaos and caffeine!
On-Site Supervisor
Abby Graham
Abby has been with Stanton Child Resource Center since October 2019 where she started as an infant room teacher! She has since then worked hard to move up from assistant to lead and now On-site Supervisor. Abbys favorite part of working with children is seeing them develop skills and reach milestones with the tools and help she provided. She is VERY loved by the children for being kind and soft hearted!
Outside of work she loves spending time with her family and spouse Christopher who was her high school sweetheart. They have a fur baby Bennette aka Benny (their Great Dane).
Abby is hardworking and has always been extremely relievable for the center and staff she has a wonderful repour with the families and staff of SCRC.
