About Us

The Stanton Child Resource Center is a non-profit childcare center in Stanton, Iowa, committed to serving the area families.  The principle purpose of the Stanton Child Resource Center shall be to provide resources to families and children, including but not limited to providing supervised educational, emotional, physical and social programs for children, and educational, developmental and supportservices to parents and families.  Our childcare services are for area children ages 6 weeks through 12 years.  This new center, which opened in August of 2005, is a first for our community and was created after seeing a definite need for childcare services in the community and surrounding areas.  This need was determined following an assessment survey conducted in 2004.  As of November 2009, the center has 143 children enrolled.  These children are from families throughout Montgomery, Page, Mills, Adams, and Cass Counties.
